Dealer who auctioned the rifle I bought took my CC number over the phone with no extra charge and the package shipped a couple hours after I called them. Just about the fastest shipping I have experienced.

Doc, it looks like this one went well all the way around. If USPS comes through. I don't think the old, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." is still in effect.
If I where Kasey, with all the things she has going, it would hard to sober me enough to ship once a month.[:D][:D][;)]

I think shipping twice a week is acceptable given the volume LF does from a small shop. If a seller only sells 1 or 2 items a week he can probably run the packages down one at a time at lunch break. This seller w is a big store doing a lot of auction selling (36,000 transactions) so I suspect Fed-Ex comes by their location for PU every afternoon. Still good service to get it out the same day.
When I sell, I do my business at work. When something sells, the check and FFL come to my office. I bring the item in from home the next day to pack and ship. I personally don't like to ship expensive items on Thursday or Friday because I don't want them "sitting around" for the weekend I like them to keep moving.
I bought a scope from a newer seller a few weeks ago. They took my cc number over the phone for no charge and I had the scope 2 days later!
The scope is still sitting on my work table at home.
I don't think I have ever been inclined to leave negative feedback.....
