Dealer who auctioned the rifle I bought took my CC number over the phone with no extra charge and the package shipped a couple hours after I called them. Just about the fastest shipping I have experienced.

Larger dealers usually ship once or twice per week. Smaller sellers are sometimes quicker.

Doc, it looks like this one went well all the way around. If USPS comes through. I don't think the old, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." is still in effect.

We ship Tuesdays and Fridays....there is just NO WAY I can box things up every day with the number of auctions we run these days. It works out pretty nicely for everyone. The auctions end Sunday night....the people that do the checkout and pay by credit card also fax over the FFLs. Monday when Shelby gets here she starts checking the paperwork that came in and makes shipping labels for Tuesday. Monday is one HECK of a phone day around here too.

That's the way I try to do it also, ship the same day, post feedback.
If I where Kasey, with all the things she has going, it would hard to sober me enough to ship once a month.[:D][:D][;)]

I think we are doing pretty good.....if you look at my feedback most of the comments are "super fast shipping" so twice a week is working out to be fine.

I probably couldnt do same day shipping if I had the amount of auctions going that LF does.. Im happy to say I am a one man show running a store front all day and managing all auctions here. All A+ feedbacks close to 500 so I must be doing something right .. Carry on !

I think shipping twice a week is acceptable given the volume LF does from a small shop. If a seller only sells 1 or 2 items a week he can probably run the packages down one at a time at lunch break. This seller w is a big store doing a lot of auction selling (36,000 transactions) so I suspect Fed-Ex comes by their location for PU every afternoon. Still good service to get it out the same day.

When I buy, I think if I have the item within a couple of weeks that's fast enough.
When I sell, I do my business at work. When something sells, the check and FFL come to my office. I bring the item in from home the next day to pack and ship. I personally don't like to ship expensive items on Thursday or Friday because I don't want them "sitting around" for the weekend I like them to keep moving.
I bought a scope from a newer seller a few weeks ago. They took my cc number over the phone for no charge and I had the scope 2 days later!
The scope is still sitting on my work table at home.
I don't think I have ever been inclined to leave negative feedback.....
