Alabama is a 6 and 1/2 point underdog...

What do you give a team like Alabama that's got everything? Make them the underdog in the national championship game. That ought to do it! [:D] If this doesn't fire a team up that didn't need to be fired up in the first place I don't know what would?? This could get nasty. [:D]

I would look at it like this if I were a player for Alabama. Here we've won the national championship 3 out of the last 4 years and we've not lost a game since Nixon was president and they're disrespecting us like this, Grrrrrrr... [:(!][:(!]

If I'm a Clemson coach I'm thinking...why on god's green earth did they do this????? We didn't need this #$#$%. [:D]

I abhor Clemson and Dipstick Sweeny I fear that Bama is the Gamecocks last chance to beat Clemson this year :)

Of course Bama and the SEC can't win every year but I sure hope they flatten Clemson. If the SEC has to lose let it be next year against Ok or Texas or someone
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Now that Kiffen is out of the picture, perhaps they have a chance. Bamas offense did not look very good against Washington.

As long as the offense does not give the game away, the Tide defense will win the game. Roll Tide!

After reading BSR's post about accents I got to thinking when reading this one. What is the background of "Roll tide"? I've heard it for decades but I'm not from the south. I did grow up on the south side of Peoria if that counts!

You have that backward Smitty. Bama is the favorite by 6.5.
    What's next?

Well then it's changed. Bama was the underdog on ESPN sports this morning.

ESPN made a mistake, Smitty. It's been 6 to 6.5 Bama favorite since day one. Were I betting on the game, I'd take the odds and pick Clemson.
    What's next?
