I was talking to a girl that i went to highscholl the other day. She had a kid when she was 17. She said that her 15 year old daughter was due to give birth in a couple weeks. Guess the apple didn't fall to far from that tree.

i delivered a 13 year old that no one knew was pregnant. mom thought she was going through a "growth spurt"
the mom had 3 kids before she was 17.
the child had onset of labor and the step dad "checked her" and called 911.
the mom left work and showed at the hospital 3 hours later.
her first comment was "congratulations, your'er a mommy!"
this was at Ft Belvior Army hospital.[:0]

Somebody outside of the family needs to explain to them what's making that baby thing keep happening.

Youngest grandmother I ever met was 27.

Youngest great-grandmother I ever knew of was 39. (Do the math on that one!)

Does anyone ever think about all the people who had sex when they were 17 but just didnt get pregnant? I honestly have a hard time with anyone who has and starts passing judgement on these "kid parents", they just got lucky in my opinion.

As a friend of mine (a good liberal feminist) says: there is NO excuse for unplanned or unwanted pregnancies in the modern world. We live in a society literally awash in cheap and "free" birth control and contraception.

This is very disturbing - I agree with a liberal feminist! [;)]
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

I might of been a dumb kid but I was still smart enough to wrap him up.

Dumbassed parents refuse to discuss sex with kids "so we don't give them ideas". As long as people insist on remaining ignorant, teens will continue to bear the fruit of that ignorance.
Educating yourself and your offspring really does solve most all problems in the world.
