4th of July weekend Pictures

Rained all day Saturday and couldn't get up or down that mud hole of a road to my house to meet josh[:(] It cleared out just in time for the fireworks. Wanted to shoot some rifles, but it was to wet. Sunday was beautiful, but had to head out at noon to get home to do some stuff here. Ended up running into this old guy at a bar on the way home. His name was Chris Streett[:D] Donna, Chris and I hung out for a few hours and sat at the bar talking about life. I don't think GB came up once. Great time with a great guy and he has a nice Harley. Gotta trade that damn wing for one.
We saw some bears, a bob cat, turkeys and had three little spike bucks hanging at my salt block all weekend, until Mr. Bear showed up.The bear laid on his side and would scoop up all the corn on the ground and eat every last piece. Of course his picture came out blurry[:(!] Had one nice big rack come in, but couldn't get a shot at his rack to show you. All in velvet.He was a ten pointer last year and survived hunting season. Lots of humming bird all day long. Here is the view from our porch and some other photos. Oakie
