Cowboy picture

Saw a cowboy print several years back that I wish I had gotten. It's an old grizzled cowpoke staring at you, holding a rope, I think. He says: If I'd known it was goin to be like this, I'd never hired on. No idea who the artist was and have been looking for awhile. Any help is appreciated cause I've got just the place for it now. Thanks.

we had an artist in small town about 8 miles west of here...years ago he had a painting of a stagecoach thundering into an old west town at our town's spring fling...wish i had bought it ...really good

Sorry, maybe a little off topic, but when I was a kid, working farms and ranches, I worked with an old man who was a drifting cowboy. He would come and go different places a lot. Work for a while, then move on. Be back around someday. He told me "Son, the first thing you do when looking for a job, is to go out to the barn and look for lights. If they have lights in the barn, pass it by, because it means they work after dark"

Quite a character. Taught me a lot. Some of it I could even share here with the auto-censor! (not much, though)

Guy in the middle. Been looking for that for years. Asked western art websites and dug for ever. Should have known to ask here 1st. Any idea who the artist is or where to get a print? Thanks a bunch, forgemonkey.

Man talked a lot for a real cowboy. The few I've met were pretty quiet but when they said something, it was important.

Damn-Somewhere I have a very old photo on my grandmother on their farm in Idaho wrestling up turkeys I think. Really a neat old picture but have no idea where it may be[:(!]
