Drunk on the Subway joke

At 45th Street, the priest sees a drunk get on ...smelly, face streaked with lipsticked kisses from someone, a bottle of cheap booze protruding from a ripped coat pocket. The drunk sits down beside the priest, opens a newspaper, and starts to read. Pretty soon the drunk makes a noise of surprise and asks the priest, "Say, Father, d'ya know what causes arthritis?" The priest scowls and unloads: "Its drunkness, chasing cheap fatladys, lack of bathing, and general laziness from unemployment!" The drunk nods thoughtfully and goes back to reading. Pretty soon the priest relents and says, "My son, I was too harsh on you a moment ago. Do you have a friend with arthritis?" The drunk says, "No, but I was just readin' that the Pope's got it."
