Are you a "gun fanatic"?

I always have a weapon on me or close by. I never leave the house without a weapon otherwise I feel "naked" I have a safe full of guns. Sometimes I wonder if I am crazy but the right to own a weapon is so ingrained into my psyche that it is unthinkable to give up that right. I am absolutley enamored with guns. I tried explain this concept to a Canadian and he was baffled as are a lot of my fellow countrymen. What say you? Are We gun lovers crazy?

    i am not crazy, but I really really really enjoying shooting things. Targets, food, pecans, twigs, wasps, frogs, fingers, snakes, tacks, targets, tannerite, slime, cans, bats, leaves, blooms, gophers, pigs, sometimes I shoot at the moon.

    I don't rely on guns to keep me protected in everyday life.

    I rely on guns to keep me protected when I'm out in the wild, where there's a risk of dangerous animals - like polar bears.

    My father gave me a old .32 H&R revolver when I was 16(soon to be 61). Been carrying a pocket rocket everyday since. Carried a High Standard .22 mag derringer until I graduated to a Taruas PT-738 a couple of years ago.

    They would come for someone at their home, find their person of interest is not home so would arrest the neighbor. They had a quoata to fill. Down the stair case they would all walk.

    If someone asks why I collect guns I tell them for the same reasons people collect coins, butterflies, baseball cards, stamps etc. Crazy is not part of the equasion.

    I hate guns. I think they're all evil and should not be available to the general public. I buy as many as I can to do my part in getting them off the streets! [:D]

    i don't know , sounds about right to me , ruger lcp within inches of my hand , ruger speed six in the desk drawer , 1911 locked &loaded behind me in the speed safe, ruger 45 vaquero across the room , rem 870 in the bedroom and another 870 in my daughters room

    the only crazy thing is to make such a statement on a gun forum. rememebr there is no privacy in the cyber world of social networking so you just got put on a list somewhere (as if they didn't just download the members list and hack the addresses, phone numbers, email and browser history for everyone who ever signed up.

    Absolutely not, all my guns got lost in a canoe accident in a lake over 11,300 feet deep.

    Now I make pretty flower arrangements to while away the time.

    Yes, I am a WHACKO gun nut. Have been since about age 9. Never have managed to gather that huge gun collection I always wanted, But God has been good -- I've been allowed to handle and shoot a wonderful array of poppers.
