    Just starting to get the effects from the remnant low that used to be Tropical Storm Erika.
    Going to get some heavy rain and some gusty winds on and off the next 36 hours or so.
    Dog gets crazy when it thunders. You would think that an 85lb. beast wouldn't get scared.
    Sitting in the hallway squeaking like a little mouse.

    No wind or rain now. Just cloudy out.
    Love how the media blows everything up.
    My theory is, retail sales are slow about this time of year, so they get the news
    media to hype the storms to get everyone out to buy all the supplies.
    Retail sales boom then.

    We got 2 1/2" of rain last night. Stopped raining about 2330.

    Here on the east central coast, I got woke up about 4:00am
    with thunder& light show. It was rumbling thunder almost
    constantly from then until afternoon. About 2.5'' of rain
    overnight and today. just now starting to slack up.
    It was a good day for gun cleaning though.[:p]
