Update: Check out my auction, please

Added: I had a lot of watchers the first time around, but no bids, so I've lowered the starting price to see if that will generate any interest. This might end up being a long running auction.

If any of you folks know of any Remington-Keene collectors or fans, please pass the word to them for me about my auction. Many thanks to you folks for your viewing and any help!!!!

I would have a VERY difficult time parting company with a rifle like that. Absolutely beautiful! You did a great job with the pictures, too!

The military museum I retired from had three of the military version carbines in the collection. The only research I remember on the carbines was they were issued to the Indian reservation police back in the day.

It's great to wake up and check in to see more great comments about the old R-K! Ya'll are the best!

I might have to raise the reserve or just take it off auction since I'm beginning to have second thoughts about letting it go.

    That is art!

    Beautiful

I have never seen one before.

The history of it's stopping power & use reminds me of the early 1900's federal prison wall gun
    the 1910 .401 auto loader.

    VERY NICE Kimi!

Art at its best, Dennis. Thanks again for the notes!

..I'll have to watch for it. Usually, I ID the guns in westerns, but
I missed that one. ".....Katie Elder" has been on a lot lately.

..kimi, that's something I'd love to fondle while being afraid to do
    so at the same time...[^]

[:D] You would truly enjoy the feel of this rifle, Dale! Especially how smooth and crisp that the bolt cycles! [:)]

I'm going to sleep on that thought tonight, and by morning I might at least raise the reserve. It is such a fantastic piece of American history that I told my son today that I might just keep it for him, as its popularity and value seems ensured.

Thanks for the thought and encouragement.
