Transfer Advice

I have dealt with a local dealer for a number of years and average two to three trade/buys a year with them plus some reloading and misc. supplies. When I asked about transfer he said no problem....$25. When the time came, my rifle arrived, the manager said he was pissed when he saw I did a transfer. This was a limited run...not available by them nor did they know the exclusive dist. for this item. The owner never indicated he had a problem with it. Now I have a sour taste over what was otherwise a great deal. If they didn't want to transfer or $25 wasn't enough they should have said. I hate to say anything because they usually try to accomodate my wants, and I'm not a BIG spender, but I ain't happy either. Your thought on this please.

as a gun dealer i think it was bs that they gave you a hardtime,we cherish our customers and treat them with respect so that they do come back and when they comeback to us we try to hook them up with their needs,so you buy a gun from us we might throw in a couple boxes of ammo or a holster.we dont mind doing transfers only as long as you are happy in whay you buy .what he did was wrong sounds like he doesnt want business if your in oregon come my way.
