I met a nice girl last week and gave her my phone number. She finally called tonight so I asked her over for dinner Wed., I'm gonna cook her a rib-eye on the grill, Make a salad and maybe some garlic bread or something? I'm getting nervous already!!!! I've never tried this home-date thing before.. Usually I take them out for Dinner or a movie etc....Am I messin-up????[:0]

I think your headed down the right track. If I could offer a few tips to you from a man who is n longer dating, but made plenty of mistakes and learned a bit from them along the way:

1. Just be yourself, do not be who you think she wants you to be, it'll show instantly if your out there trying to "pose".

2. Try to do more listening than talking.

3. Do not overwhelm her with stories of yourself. Drop a open-ended comments and observances, let her fill in the rest.

4. Do not sweat the "akward pause", let it run it's course and have a few subjects tucked away you think she may find interesting.

5. Enjoy yourself. This is NOT a job interview, relax, take it easy and see what happens.

Good luck, sounds as if the dinner will go well. One One last bit of advice; if your looking for a great way to prep the Ribeyes for the feast, put them on a platter early in the afernoon, smother them in butter, then apply a your favorite seasoning, or meat tenderizer. Place it in the microwave for apporx 30 seconds to let the butter and the seasonings melt into the meat, cool it in the fridge all afternoon until ready to cook. When the time comes, slap it on the grill, let the butter and seasoning melt into the steak and enjoy a delicious, tender cut of beef.

skip the movies,skip dinner.do lunch, take to go do something different.do something unusual like go to a water park then go play some minature golf.then make her the dinner and RENT A MOVIE ,that way she will be tired from that long day you had you might end up having breakfast with her.dont have sex with her on the first night,make yourself be a challenge.
