years and next month they're putting me on Medicare. How come I've gotta have Medicare and Nancy, Barack, and Hillary get a different and better plan? Are they more elite than I am? They been saying for years how they're gonna get me good healthcare and I see this disparity. How come? Where in the Constitution or B of Rights am I guaranteed the gov will supply free healthcare? Now I need to see a doctor to operate on my tongue. It's stuck in my cheek.

Well now, Obama wants Universal Health care. Of course the 545 will exempt themselves from the law and keep the sweet deal they now have.

Oh; would you please pay for another 50 years, Obama needs the money.

Sure, I'll work another 50. In addition to my office, I have two part time jobs and burgle occasionally at night to stock three perennial yard sale locations.

Yes,slinger, they are more elite than the rest of us - and they make the laws. I've paying in since '56 and still am. I couldn't take the early pay-out in 2002 since I am still working. I had to wait until 01-06. Yeah, it's nice to get the check every month but there is no way in he** I'll ever live long enough to get my money back (forget about interest starting in '56). Am I bitter looking at all the undeserving folks (yes, some truly deserve gov help) getting a monthly handout? You bet I am.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

Why are our Elected officals getting anything all they are paid Lobbiest. I can't stand them running all over the world at our expense, look at Clinton working for foreign Governments and traveling all over the world. We now see Hillary is a High payed fatlady working off her campain debt for Obama.

Oh Doug, I could calculate it if I wished to be depressed.
Not 50 years of course,....but remember, I am self-employed, and pay the employee, and employer duplicate of SS/MC.
That equals 15% off the top before we even get into income tax (941).[xx(]

...I get a statement every year or two that shows exactly what I've earned and paid in, going back to about 1973. It also states how much I'm entitled to if I become disabled at this time. I just figured everyone got one of these from the SSA...?

Tap - my heart took me out of the work force in 1999, and I don't remember ever getting such a statement.

I wonder if they can go back to 1960 ??

Guess I'll give 'em a call.

Yes, I have been getting 1 or 2 statements for 10 years. They show how much I've paid in since '56. Pretty grim!
