Need advise on a project

Some of you may remember that I bought a number of slot machine face glasses.

Well I still need to frame them so I can hang them up!

Is there someplace I can buy frame material that I can just cut down to the size that I need?

Standard picture frames are all the wrong sizes as these are all oddly shaped. I also would like to have them thick enuff to mount some back lights on them to light them up like they would be on the slot machines.

Go look at the moulding at a lumber store. You can make some real nice frames out of that stuff.

Like MT357 said...Or buy a router and make your own. I used to make all kinds of picture frames in my younger days. It's fun.....[:)][:)]

Perhaps a shadow box type frame would suit you:

If you don't want to do yourself, Michaels will custom make a frame for you. NOT cheap!

No, he's right. The diplomas were mail order. He did have them framed though.

Menard's has pre finished and unfinished frame material in I think 8 or 10 foot lengths and they have some really nice profiles!

A custom sign shop may be able to help put boarders on them as well as make them hangable or make clear "signs" that hold the glass for you. Worth looking into. FastSigns is big out this way. My friend and his Dad own a shop out where I live and made a great sign for my wife and I for our business. They're located in many areas, check out their website. http://www.fastsigns.com/
