Indendiary / tracer 12ga ammo question

I see, in the ammunition section of GB, some auctions for 12ga tracer or incendiary ammo. Is a Class III (or other special permit) required to own / shoot this stuff?

This is ninja wannabe crap IMHO, but you need no special qualifications to buy it. Be aware, however, that some jurisdictions, such as Chicago, prohibit the purchase of tracer / incendiary ammo, so be sure to check the local regs before you buy. If, OTOH, you live in the USA, no problem.

Be *VERY SURE* to clean your firearm thoroughly and completely ASAP after firing any of this stuff. I've seen a bright tube turned into a rusty sewer pipe when this was not done.
