Michael Jackson Keeps his Crown as "Most Foolish American"
March 31, 2004 11:57 AM EST
Los Angeles (dpa) - Pop star Michael Jackson has been chosen as the Most Foolish American for the second year running in an annual poll released Wednesday, a day ahead of April Fool's Day.
The reclusive 45-year-old pop star is currently facing charges of child molestation and has a history of bizarre behaviour. He was the top choice of 77 per cent of the more than 1,000 Americans polled.
His sister Janet Jackson, who notoriously bared her breast at the Super Bowl extravaganza earlier this year, made the fool's list a family affair when she took second place.
Jail-bound domestic diva Martha Stewart was in third spot, followed by pop starlet Britney Spears, who was ridiculed for her 55-hour marriage to a childhood friend in Las Vegas. U.S. President George W. Bush came in 10th.

A friend will post your bail. A good friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying, "man that was fun!"
