I have two Treeing Walker hounds, one is a Banjo bred and the other is Nailor bred. We chase * and I must say that * hunting with a good dog(s) is some of the best enjoyment I have ever experianced. After owning these dogs I can honestly that I will never own any other kind of dog, if it isnt a hound I won't own it, BTW I also treat my hounds like children, they are my babies and I am the only one who can handle them[:D]

I have English Coonhounds and chase them when my health permits. Best sport in the world.

Treeing Walker is my next favorite.

My Banjo dog is getting sold, 'ol Hank has just not performed well for me so he is going to another owner who has more time to hunt him. I will be getting another hound later on and I'm not sure what to get. I like the looks of Redbones but my huntin buddies said they will not hunt with me if I get one. Am thinking about an English instead of another Walker, Walkers are extremely popular around here, I want to be different!

There are some Real good English dogs...I've hunted redbones but without the kind of sucess that I demand.Always a problem with em somehow, come home with collars[:(],not good.Walkers I think as a rule are awful dang hot nosed, which is good for quick pops,but....anyhow you could do worse than an English IMHO.I been out for a while so the lines have changed but do your homework and I think you'll like em.L.H.

HAHA, hot nosed you say??[:D] Buddy old Rebel will teach you about how a Walkers nose works[:D] He is out of the famous Nocturnal Nailor is one on hard treeing dog, fast to the tree and will not leave. BUT, he got a cold nose and that makes for some long walks, if there is a * in the area he will find it before the other dogs, he has treed * without running a track, little bugger will hit trees all night untill he finds wich tree it is in. Gotta love Rebel!! May not make a good PKC money dog but dangit I can't wait till hunting season starts and we get to shoot the *, gonna have a mess of them!
