Why does it seem that we wind up fighting even here, its just what the enemy needs.Personaly I've no use for a machine gun etc. but I am not one of the deer hunter crowd that don't care. You all know who I mean, the ones that don't care as long as they get to keep their deer gun etc.etc. I just do not understand,WHAT is it going to take to get us on the same damn page? If ALL gunowners got together and voted,we could vote ANYONE out.....or IN.....whats in gonna take,Why are we fighting???

Exactly machine guns have already been erased, no more can be manufactured for civilians. In about 10 years noone will own one.

Machine Guns will not be gone in ten years.

I am for every firearm there is. I'm not one of the ...'who needs a machine gun?' people. I'm going to be a future owner.

Longhunter..haven't you tumbled to the answer yet ?

This forum is ate up with people willing to accept 'just one more' gun law,if it will get the socialists off our backs....A pretty good cross-reference to the country at large. They have a queasy feeling in the pit of the stomach at any thought of relaxing gun laws..because they don't trust their fellow man.

Bringing up a distant 3%,screaming every step of the way..is the people that can read..the Constitution..and believe that document is the bedrock of this country. They believe that a man with a gun is not evil,or up to no good...and stand ready to make da** sure things stay that way.

So,yes..you can lump people with guns together with folks who actually believe to their core that guns are a RIGHT...but that don't make it so.

    God,Guts,& GunsHave we lost all 3 ??

Hell - we could not even keep our shotgun range and rifle range from seperating after all the upitiies got into a squable over finances.... I am for all kinds of firearms. You just got to wonder what people mean when they say "Law abidin citizen". If your law abiding and a citizen why sould somebody care what you own???? We could go on and on with these type of questions, but they never get it - until they get it[;)]

IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY RIGHTS - GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY (this includes politicians)

Marksman, the first thing we need to do is get the anti-gunners out of office.

personally I concider these attacks on our constitution acts of treason

First of all, I love the WWII era! I want a WWII Colt 1911, and Garand but theyre expensive! I trying to collect WWII era items so far all i have is few stamps and coins. Ive seen some wierd stuff on ebay.

Ron Paul from Texas would make a good President. He is VERY progun. Getting anti gunners out of office will be hard, because of all the soccer moms and women trapped in mens bodies. But things are getting better for proguners.

I feel that only violent felons should not be able to own a gun. There are many things that are against the law that are felonies, not all should strip you of your 2nd Amendment Right! If it were up to the anti-gunners EVERYTHING would be a felony!

I guess that I am just getting there....I didn't WANT[:(]to believe that Americans by and large would wander so far from what we once were...So its true then....the enemy knows it as well.Gun owners are a very DIVIDED lot,and so long as they are, EASY pickings....They CAN win,if this trend continues....[V]How sad....how very sad tp think that all those that fought, bled and died to form THIS MIGHTY COUNTRY,have semmingly done it in vain......No offense intended to vets,at all,far from it,I appreciate it all,but the masses go and build the monuments, they say the words but that is the end[V]The greater or Greatest monument would be to KEEP this the FREE and GREAT country it was fought for ...My hat is off to you vets! And to my flag......I am a proud American....I LOVE my country, but it is falling....but who cares?WHO?[:(!] So Said,For the first time in my life I actually can hear the death toll of this great nation..[:(!]LISTEM Da** iT! CAn you all HEAR IT? sigh.....L.H.

longhunter, believe you are seeing the results of the ME mentality. If it doesn't benefit ME, I don't care. This is particularily true in the firearms related sports. Shotgunners hate everyone else, pistol shooters hate revolver shooters, semi auto rifle shooters hate bolt rifle shooters, etc, etc, on and on. Everyone who doesn't own one hates full auto-gunners and the 50 cal boys (jealous I imagine). The ME mentality says "Until it affects MY particular toy, I really don't care what happens to yours". What will it take to walk folks up, total registration and the start of confiscation by firearm type, at which time it will be to late. It is coming and unless EVERYONE registers and VOTES the cause as a singular issue, the anti's will win by default. With less that 25% of the country voting in presidential elections its easy to see how a singular cause vote can change history. There are a lot of pro gunners in New York and California but seems the Schumers, Feinsteins, and Arkansas outcasts keep getting elected/re-elected. Sadly we fall on deaf ears most of the time, the testosterone syndrome I guess. If we don't quit wagging our D---s around, and unit, vote, write, protest, whatever legal means we can muster to win the battle, we will surely walk the same path the Brits have walked and the Aussies are walking. GOD BLESS AMERICAbefore it it to late!

Rhonda,I thank you,I was getting....dejected,easy to do these days.Just how to unite these folks, that is the question.I agree it is me,me,me,and it ain't gonna wash.We will all lose if we don't stand united.Loving the shooting sports SHOULD be the glue that holds us together, sadly it isn't doing it anymore. Most won't even talk about it.....and yes I know they do their part voting and such but I do not think that will be enough in the future,we must UNITE and elect a couple figures to show the rest o the good ole boys club that WE MEAN BUSINESS......Thanks for your input!!!!........L.H.

Great pic and interesting quote my friend!

Question: Is the NRA not enough for uniting purposes? The oeganization doesn't seem to be losing any clout, atleast from what i have heard.

In a word.....NO,I do not believe so.Reason,They are NOT GETTING the vote out,and in my opinion are indeed turning people off and away, thus frgmenting the entire deal. The NRA has become its own business now...anyone care to get the facts on what they all make? Are we getting the most bang for our buck?I am not so sure anymore...L.H.
