We are having some real nice weather right now,so we went to some garage sales.Picked up a GI folding shovel that is U.S. marked.Also got a large TIME-LIFE soft cover book on WWII titled LIFE GOES TO WAR dated 1977.Also picked up 10 new Craftsman metric sockets for 50 cents each and a small American made bench vise for a couple of bucks.Sales were everywhere,but it got to hot out,so we went home.I started going to garage sales back in 1971.I have not found many guns at them,but lots of other neat items.Made some extra cash selling the items I did not keep on Ebay and doing car swap meets.

A red CH single stage C press that is tilted to the back. $15 for all of it.

Thought the press might be handy for seating 357 and 44 magnum's.

how old are ammo cans that have a heavy canvas handle? Got one like new today and a brace and set of like new bits(15) in a oilskin pouch all for 12 bucks

nice finds, i've had good luck at a local farmer's market, air tanks for 5 bucks, WWII leggings for 25 cents, regulators for 5 bucks. i've got good free finds from my great uncle, such as rifle and shotgun presses and equipment, a metal lathe, 2 rifles, a drill press from the 1800's and numerous other large tools. i've also been cleaning out his attic, and i found a box of his and his brother's WWII equipment, pics here http://wwiistuff.mypicgallery.com

I did real good at garage sales yesterday.Got an Enfield Jungle carbine and two full boxes of 303 ammo for $100.Just got back from shooting it.Sweet! It`s a keeper. Also bought a little over 100 Jim Beam decanters cheap.Those aren`t selling very well on ebay right now from what I see,but I`ve got some good ones that will more than pay for the whole bunch.

I also picked up 3 leather(imatation) NRA American Rifleman magazine binders. Also picked up all but one of the 1966 issues and all but one of the 1967 issues. Also picked up an issue of the June 1968 one. All look very nice. Does anybody collect these? I may have just started.[:D]
