There eye sight will put the human eye to shame but they will walk right up to a plastic decoy and get shot. I guess a pea sized brain
does not get it done even with good eye sight[:D]

    I can't figure out how I can call em in and miss so much with a shotgun. Seriously, I killed several over the years, but I've missed more, for various reasons. Sometime they were too close, sometimes too far. I read a rule of thumb that stopped the too far off shots several years ago...when you can make out their eye distinctly on their head they are usually 25-30yds, assuming normal vision on your end.

    Bambihunter, Then you need to come to Missouri in April, we should make a good team, I've got lots of good hunting spots, for morels too.
