Being poor

It takes some getting used to. I hate that things are tight now. I am used to treating my wife to special things. We used to take vacations all over the world and now going to the beach 2 hours away is a big deal.[:(] She is a special lady and has never complained about it. When i was in the hospital she slept in a chair for a month and never said a word.

    You are richer then you will ever know. You have a woman that adores you, Nice kids and wonderful grandchildren. I always here you talking about how great a family you have. What more can a man ask for. All the rest of the stuff in this world is BS.Life is not all about money. We all die with same amount of money.Its the little things in life that you should appriciate. I learned that when I had the prostate cancer. I have problems and my wife has been there for me all the way.I finally realized that money means nothing without each other.

    I've lived pretty poor all my life, even when I had extra money I put it away or gave it away. [:)]

    My life is better now ,over all, than its ever been because I learned to appreciate what I have around me.[^][:)]

    Electricity and running water are just a couple of things I enjoy now. My family, girlfriend, and dog are a few more.[8D][:)]

    Once you get through all your medical problems that are constant reminders of misery, you'll have lots of time to make more money and take trips and things. But remember in the mean time, A positive attitude don't cost a thing![;)][:)]
