So I've referred to myself as "unemployed" for the past couple years because my girlfiend had some debt and I've helped her financially, but I was afraid that I may be finding a job soon (was looking) to help her out more (pay off the house).
We are both only in our early 30s, and I didn't want to dip into my current set up. Plus I'd feel lazy sitting around while she still has bills and I'm young enough and capable of helping her out.
Well she just recieved a job offer from the State Correctional Institution near our home, and will be working there as an RN.
This represents a signifigant increase in pay for her, and now I will not be needing to go back to a full time job!
I will likely look for part time "busy" work if I can find something that fits my schedule.
But for now..... I think I'll take a nap in the chair with my dog.
