Posting pictures or otherwise on GB or other

entities via. MSN as an ISP is not possible as I my research has determined. Has anyone here encountered a similar problem with MSN or any of the other popular ISPs (i.e., Earthlink, AOL, etc.).
There is memory allocated for the subscribers on MSN, but apparently the Microsoft engineers have some issues that concern them regarding making this purchased/rented memory by its subscribers (ie., Me!) available through links for other internet users to access.
Am I on the mark here, or am I missing a clue? I am not interested in renting other space elsewhere for this purpose, or using a free site that allows pop-ups...but I am contemplating a move to another ISP that is a little more generous.
I see some here have posted things for other members. That is very kind, but I would not want to bother anyone with this. It isn't a big issue really, but one important enough to make me bail from MSN. I don't know if they are any different from the others, but I seem to recall AOL allowing this when ebay required posting pictures this way.
Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Personally I think the larger ones are a pain in the butt!!! I suggest finding a reliable local ISP if that is possible!

1. The problem might not be the service, but rather the fact that many don't allow outside linking to the pictures. This isn't all that uncommon and you'd have to address that with any ISP (ask them directly if they allow outside linking of pictures on your website/webspace).
2. I don't know for sure who allows it and who doesn't, but a couple ISP's you might check out is gbronline.com (they are great, quick (for dial-up), no annoying disconnects and are cheap - ~$10/month. There is a pro-gun site advertised here on GB that I've heard several mention good things about. I would HIGHLY recommend using a local "mom and pop" ISP as you'll have more personal (and usually more knowledgeable) help, they are often cheaper, and their service can usually be more tailored to your needs.
3. see answer #2
4. There are many places that will hosts websites or pictures and I know for under $10 you can get exactly what you desire, just look around and maybe even search previous posts about posting pictures.
5. again see # 2
Summary, you can certianly do what you want to do for less than you are spending and likely find an ISP better suited to your needs for a lot less. Remember also that a lot of places limit the bandwidth (the amount of transfers you can use) so depending on your needs you might have to pay a fair chunk. For instance, if you're going to advertise a lot on Ebay or something, every time someone looks at your listing they'll see the pictures and this will go towards your transfer limit. Also, if you put a picture here on GB in your signature, every time someone views it then they'll be transfering it (think of it like they are downloading it, albiet temporarily).
I'd be glad to host your pictures for you. I have a dedicated server that, in the past 2 years, has only had just barely over 24 hours down time (applying patches, updates, AV software, etc). If you need to change the pics often I could even set you up with a FTP link so you can change them as you see fit. Again it isn't up 100% of the time, but darn close.

Will host just about any pic I want to upload there. It's also free to use their picture hosting site.
Regards,
I compensate for this by leaving a little room around my pics.

If you go to broadband you sure won't want to ever go back to dial-up, I can guarantee that! [:)]
