    Would one of those be suitable for a "New Frontier" revolver in .22/.22mag? with 4.5" barrel? The original pasteboard box that had the styrofoam within has gone all to flinters. Only the Styrofoam looks anywhere like it did in 1975 when I got it.

    How are you so sure that's a Colt box?? I mean any bozo could buy a box and some stickers a Wallie World and put something like that together. Got any proof? You expect us to believe you?[?][?][:o)][:o)]

    If I had a Colt, I'd go for it. It looks genuine to me. Saxon has never given me a reason to doubt his word. I see no reason to start now.

    I know what you mean. Not sure how to prove it's genuine.

    Yup, that's a Colt box. It held the small, .22 short caliber, single-shot Civil War Centennial "1860 Army" made in 1961. They came as either a single gun or a matched pair.
