Should have hired someone to explain the religious freedom law.

Cause he is sure coming across as an idiot.

My 2 cents.

The Governor and his new law is getting badmouthed from all over the country. I've had friends from FL to SD e-mail me to say WTH?! It will be interesting to see if the conventions that are saying that they will bail from Indy actually do. That would cost the city big time.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

He should have rehearsed a bit more.
Did he think he was not going to get that question??

A similar law in my state up for consideration is being bashed by the socialists and liberals.
Liberals and socialists have always despised religion or any laws protecting ones religion.

There is however one religion liberals will make allowance for.

    Idiotic.

    "The sky is falling."

Clinton signed it into federal law.

Obama supported the same law in Illinois.

The man was imminently prepared to explain the bill to the "George's" of the world. Great video.
    What's next?

I sure wouldn't pin my argument on "Obama and Clinton were for it 20 years ago."

But on the upside, we have this group filing for recognition now.

INDIANAPOLIS - Paperwork for the First Church of Cannabis Inc. was filed Thursday - the same day Gov. Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law.

Church founder Bill Levin, who filed paperwork with the Secretary of State's office to register the church as a non-profit, posted to his Facebook page that church and its "cannataerians" would seek "love, understanding and good health."

The filing comes as RTV6 political insider Abdul-Hakim Shabazz said on his blog, IndyPolitics.org , that the Colorado-based Green Faith Ministries believed it could expand its ministry into Indiana .

Green Faith Ministries uses marijuana as part of its sacrament, Shabazz reported.

Marijuana is currently illegal in Indiana for both medical and recreational use.

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act prevents state government from "substantially burdening" a person's exercise of religion only if it can demonstrate that it is the least restrictive means of furthering a compelling governmental interest.

Numerous courts, among them the U.S. Supreme Court, have consistently held that the state and federal government have a compelling interest in maintaining the prohibition against marijuana, including for medical uses.

According to Levin's Facebook page, members of the First Church of Cannabis will be asked for individual donations of $4.20 a month.

I had a good time tonight screwing with the Pinkos on Facebook. They were all giving Pence hell and George Takei was his usual dirtbag.
I came up with something whe they started talking about the baker that didn't want to bake the cake for the carpet munchers.
This shut them down. The biggest rebuttal I got was "It's not the same":

Let compare a "what if". Suppose a hooker doesn't want to service a John for whatever reason, stinks, dirty, whatever. According to Tim Cooks' logic, she doesn't have a choice. If she's open for business, she's required to perform her services. Wait, isn't this involuntary servitude? That is prohibited by civil law and the Constitution.

There are plenty of outlets that will be happy to service this special group. This law, historically, does not protect a mom and pop florist from a lawsuit if they refuse.

The protest is not about being treated as equals, it is about being treated as something special.

These agenda queens really should learn to just live and let live.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

I live in Indiana and the state house and senate needs to just grow a set and tell people to shove off. Much debate about nothing and I personally do not care how many conventions choose to leave the state.

The pink paraders will not be happy until they can promote their perverted lifestyle as normal. Your kids and grandkids are the targets.

IT proves to me that they are more about shovIng their perversion in peoples face. After all, Why in the world would you demand someone take your money if you know they dont likE you or your lifestyle.

Stupid if you ask me. Someone doesnt want my money ill find someone who does. In fact, id probably pay a littLe more just to not deal With that business.

But when you say no, you have to take my moNey because i know i disgust you, to me shows what those types are really about.

Even better: What if a female hooker doesn't want to service a lesbian? Is that against the law? Of course, where prostitution is legal, like in Reno. Otherwise, it wouldn't be enforceable.
