Seen it, had it, ate it. Just wish I would have kept some of those toys and comic books. Some may not agree, but I don't think there ever was, nor will there ever be a better time to grow up. Everything was not perfect, but compared with today's world, I'd live in that one all over again if I could.

That was crap. I was born in 66 and know 90% of that stuff. Chutes and Ladders I think they still sell, I think I have a copy down in the basement.

My kids are in college and we still play life and sorry and scrabble etc....

As well as Cards against Humanity... or Boxers and Briefs....

    etc....
Need to get the extra card set for CAH for next week...

I remember playing with Cootie Bugs and staying away from girls because they had cooties.

Mr. Potato Head was a real potato and my uncle Fritz always carried his Lucky's in his rolled up t shirt sleeve.

Pony tails, saddle shoes, and poodle skirts.

Took my first puff off a cigarette from a guy who could have been the Fonzy's twin brother. Black leather jacket, greased up pomp and all.

Wouldn't change a thing about my childhood.

I recognize 98% of that, and I am old as dirt.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I was born in 47 so I pretty much remembered everything. I wish I had a time machine so I could take my 17 year old son back for a visit.

I wonder if we would come back??

'49 for me, and I remember about 99% of it - fondly.

They missed Rin-Tin-Tin, Beany and Cecil (the puppet show, not the lousy cartoons,) and Sky King.

    Good times.

Why would you want to? If I could go back to the fifties, I'd gladly stay there! [:D]

Born in 43 and would go back in an instant. Growing up in those times were the greatest times of my life. Didn't have much but I didn't need much during those times. Made a lot of toys from simple things like bow & arrows, guns made from sticks, swords from sticks, pea shooters, sling shots, and skis made from barrel staves. They were the good times.

I was born in 1955 and remember 98% of everything shown .Course living out in the country there were no ice cream trucks coming around .We did have a regular fish peddler who came by on Fridays. He always wrapped your purchase up in news paper. sadly our local paper has gone so far downhill that wrapping fish is about all it is worth .Give a country boy an old innertube a pocket knife and a cherry tree and lookout
