Twodogs....I just noticed your handle. Does it come from the old joke about the Native American inquiring about where his name came from? We had a baseball team when I was in the Navy named Twodogs and I just wondered. all the best,Beach.

    Yep !!
    That's where it came from.
Heard the joke over 20 years ago in deer camp.
Knocked me out...after, when asked a dumb question my response was
    "Why do you ask Twodogs"?
Became my handle around camp and stuck..

The only NSW I can think of is New South Wales.

I'm ready to hear the joke too...

We got one of those "Navy Seals" Sigs in our shop. Kinda pricey as I recall, just to have a tiny anchor on the side of the slide.

how much they going for? whatever it is it is a waste of money! i worked on them and all they were were plain 226's...that broke a lot. so why would anyone want to commemorate them? anyone got a pic? heck...i just bought a replacement 226 from another site for under 475.00 and it is just fine. no anchor. heck, why would anyone want an anchor on it? oh you guys got me going now....regards...old NAVSPECWARGRU2 guy.

    Bobski,
From what I've learned they were a special run of about 1000 of these
pistols. I have never dealt with many Sigs but I had a customer
    hot for this pistol.
Your right it has an anchor stamped on it and some sort of specical
finish.....ticket is around $630-650 or so dealer cost.
