Drunk off my rocker

This post has no point except to say that it is only 8:18pm central time (2018 for us military types) and I have been drinking screwdrivers and watching M*A*S*H* (season 2) since about 1430[^] (being friday we were released at 1300 here at Med hold company ( I can't say the name of the base due to censuring) Isn't military life great?? What are some other Military stories out there?

    Try getting married. That'll change the "drinking schedule" real quick!

    Now I buy these Michelob Ultras which are just a squirt above Near-Beer, and I can drink them all night without the wife complaining.

    Come May thru September, it's great having a dozen or so out back. It is so quiet in these mountains, the stars are so bright. I like hanging out at the end of the driveway shooting the snot with the Forest Service guys if they're around, or just by myself.

    When the Courthouse Bell does it's hourly chime, I can hear it's ring reflected off yonder mountain and back (after one a.m.

    And people coming out of a bar about 1/5 mile away? you can hear loud conversation and laughter pretty clearly.
