I just got some Magsafe ammo and it said don't use it in cheap guns or throated guns. What does that mean?

    Some semi-autos have the leading edge of the chamber relieved for easier feeding; I think it's similar to a chamfer cut(?), or the feed ramp area relieved and smoothed for the same reason. Anyway, ammo makers often declare that hot loads should have the full support of the chamber walls when fired, for liability reasons. It's not a major issue since guns throated at the factory or by a competent smith are designed to work well with hot loads.
