Report on Springdale, AR gun show

Got there at 0940 and the parking lot was almost totally full. Inside it was shoulder to shoulder. No empty tables. Lots of rifles and pistols, and of course knives. Well, it's a gun and knife show. There seemed to be lots of ammo but didn't price any for I have enough for my needs. Did see 2 310 BSA Martini Cadets there. I asked the seller where he got them, and he said, "From you 25 years ago." Well at 81 you can't expect me to remember "everthang". Still looking for a Winchester Mod 70 30-06 at a decent price. There is one on the auction side for $700 start that has rusty barrel and receiver along with rusty bolt. It's been there for six months with no bidders.

    Didn't make the Springdale show today. Did make it to Ozark Armory and Cabelas, in search of a XDS in 45. Both were too proud of em for me. Looks like I'll be buying on the auction side.

    Didn't you mention before living on 23 N near Turner Bend?

    I see the Conway show is next weekend. Hope it's better than the Little Rock show a few weeks ago. That was the worst show I've ever seen. Half the tables empty. Another try at the end of the month but maybe a different promoter?
