    The video is humorous. [:)]

    Have not heard or seen any thing indicating the the filmer had some how induced said dog into running in it's sleep. So what is the beef? [:0] [:(]

    No one is torturing the dog and no one is forcing it into its disturbed sleep antics apparently. Filming is not causing the antics, so it would appear to be a matter of filming what is. [;)]

    Vivid dreams indeed.

    My boy Lenny does that. The running, not the jump up and bump into stuff. He does enough bumping when he's awake.

    I've heard there is an area in the brain of both animals and humans that paralyzes the body while we dream. When it's working right it keeps us from acting out our dreams. When it isn't working right or been disconnected by some mad scientist we can't tell the difference between wake and sleep.

    My dog does a little of that, but nowhere near that extreme. I call her name a time or two and she stops.

    It's funny like somebody busting their * on the ice. You know it's not funny but your natural instinct is to laugh. I think it's the surprise factor.

    It was very cute and funny. Dogs can do some weird things in their sleep. You wonder what they are dreaming about.
