So without giving your ID or letting the cop inspect the weapons, two things that would probably not have any effect on weather or not they commit a crime or not.

    So what is the point?

Nicest cop I have ever seen.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

That was one patient officer... I get the whole "make a video lesson on your rights" thing, but strapping an AR on your back in public just to make a point and bait a cop is just asking for trouble, guys like this are NOT helping our cause one little bit. There are way to many paranoid people these days.

Hats off to the officer for being patient and professional, but those guys were pushing it. In Georgia, refusal to produce I.D. or give name and date of birth IS an arrestable offense.

I never think of the police as "jackbooted thugs" or anything else.
I have just learned to see that some police see there job as a profession to be proud of and do there best to be a good police officer.
I see the newer generation of police as the me,me,me, and I want to be a hero type. So I separate the good from the not so good.

Clowns like this who go around looking for trouble are the perfect example of what makes gun owners/enthusiasts look like "extremists" to the rest of the country.

I deal with a lot of LEO's in some sort or fashion and for the most part everyone of them are just nice folks. Even the one that could have gave me a real Nice ticket the other day but came back to my window with just a warning.

Agreed... Exercising your rights is one thing...
Blatantly "sweating and stinking from over exertion in public" is absolutely awkward and absurd.

These guys baited and figured they'd catch a cop who'd try and "school" them...
I guess they were 'taught' a thing or two... [;)]

Did you all notice his backup sitting in the background.

You can bet your bottom dollar they knew what they were doing, just wanted to go greet them to agnolige their presence so they could move on.

    Very nice gentleman.[8D]

I have watched quite a few of this guys videos. With the exception of Medford PD all the officers he has videoed has been quite professional and good. Hats off to the Oregon PD's.

PS. My brother is a officer in this area, and they are well aware of this guy. He's more of a joke to them, with the exception of Medford PD which handles this situation horribly. If I remember right this guys Youtube name is Markedguardian.

Never met an officer of any kind that wasn't professional. Maybe I have just been lucky.

"In Georgia, refusal to produce I.D. or give name and date of birth IS an arrestable offense."

Question: Did not the Supreme Court rule that the government has no authority to make citizens carry ID?

You are NOT required to carry identification.....However, if you possess a state issued i.d., you are required to produce this identification upon request of a law enforcement officer. And further, if you do not possess a state issued i.d., you must give, upon request, your name, date of birth and/or other identifying information to properly and accurately identify yourself.

    This falls under Georgia code(s)
40-5-29: License to be carried and exhibited upon demand.
16-10-25: Giving false name, address or D.O.B to an officer
16-10-24: Obstruction/ Hindering of Officer in official duties

There are a few more statutes that covers this issue, but you get the idea.

Can't make me carry it, but can arrest me if I exercise my right not to.
