Realistic UFO Video.....

edited June 2008 in General Discussion
I've got an email in which there is an attachment showing the most real looking UFO photos I have ever seen. And this with me having always been a skeptic.

I would like to post the short video here on GB.com but sadly I do not know how. Can any interested party tell me?

ovni.WMV (the video was labeled with the forgoing, but a Google search using the letters brings up an entirely different video that has no connection with the one I received)

save the video to photobucket and then post a direct link. I don't think you can post a video directly on GB but I could be mistaken.

Thanks Zipper, but that was not even close to being the same video that was emailed to me.

Yeah, I had already done a Google search for the video that was emailed to me. I thought if I could find the video on YouTube or some place I could at least post the web address. And thanks for trying, but the one you found (even though the "name" appeared to be the same), it was not even close to the same video. The one that was emailed to me was very, very clear but very short. I am 66 years old, have seen a lot of crap and strange stuff in my life and have never believed in UFO's. But frankly the video that was emailed to me shook me up more than just a little bit.

Can I forward email it to someone here that knows how to post it or a link here on GB.com so I can get other opinions?

Here is one of the comments and additional information that was included with the video:

    Original Message

VERY Cool.....hmmmmm..... Now , just what in the heck were they? And
where were they from? This video was taken by a German tourist in one of
the islands belonging to the many chains in the Caribbean; specifically
north of Trinidad and Tobago on 06 /08/2007 at 5:50 AM. This tourist rose
early to contemplate the beach and enjoy the sunrise when suddenly faced
with something incredible. The video lasts a few seconds as the camera had
little memory. This tourist took the shock of their life. The only thing
they could say was a great gasp of fear or emotion. The two UFO's were
virtually skimming the ground as if they were searching for something and
then returned rapidly to other lights who were circling in the sky.
There is no official report on what happened and no security agency has said
anything. This point of the island is known as Stonehaven Bay.

    tr,

i don't know if it's true or just a vicious rumor, but a craft exactly like the one in the video was spotted not long ago in Virginia. A female witness reported to authorities that she saw an unidentifed airborne craft in the vicinity of Waples Mill Road in Fairfax VA. She, along with other witnesses to the event, stated the craft seemed to be constantly banking to the left, and a sinister voice originating from a speaker/pa system on the craft announced repeatedly, "I am Lapierre the Great; OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH,the NRA supports the 2nd amendment OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH, and the rights of sportsmen and hunters; please send your most generous contribution OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH."

    Strange; very strange indeed.

Very good,.......but I suspected CG myself.
This would have been all over every media outlet if it was thought legit.

There are no "aliens", at least not from outer space![:D]
Why do you figure they would travel thousands, or millions of light years,.......for the purpose of a "passover" flight, and continue to do it for decades?

If they existed, we would know by now.

why do these things always get caught on tape right when the filmer is running out of tape or battery? You never hear of someone with a fresh battery or new tape catching this stuff.

There's more to that story. The voice from the "speaker/pa" system also said "If you are not supporting the NRA to help with your gun rights WHAT/WHO are you supporting?" It went on to add "Show me just ONE national pro-gun rights organization that is showing an actual track record of filing pro-gun lawsuits, lobbying to get pro-gun/self-defense rights passed in most states and most importantly, show me just ONE national pro-gun organization that is even 1/2 as large and powerful as the NRA."

It also went on to ask "Why does Ted Kennedy, Charles Schumer, Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer (among other anti-gun politicians) join you in hating the NRA?"

I don't know why you left all that out of your story.

tr, it sounds like you were Wayne's co-pilot, and frankly, I'm suprised by that. I know Teddy Kennedy was at Duke undergoing surgery, so that knocks him out of the seat, but I am shocked that Chucky Schumer would give up his co-pilot's seat. He must hold you in high regard. Because of that, I am flabergasted that Chucky did not invite you up on stage with himself, Teddy, Dianne, Barbara, and Wayne to celebrate in the passage of HR 2640.

Got anything else to say? Wanna get broadsided again?[:D]

I was abducted by aliens back in 1979. I was just walking thru the woods around 2:00am and I heard a loud noise and realized that it was just my stomach growling at me. I was hungry, I missed dinner that night due to... I lost my money at the casino that night. So I decided to take a drive thru the woods in my truck.

Of course my gas gauge was broke and I ran out of gas 70 miles in the middle of no where. So I decided to walk back in to town when all the sudden I felt like someone was watching me. All the sudden these bright lights appearded out of no where and where above me in a matter of seconds! At this point I started to panic a little and wet myself. So I started running as fast as I could!

Then all the sudden I couldn't move! I was frozen in time and I started lifting up towards the light. As I got closer to the light I started to think about how hungry I was, because I had missed dinner that night. Anyways I blacked out and when I woke up, I was restrained on a table. I couldn't move or speak.

So... I then wet myself once again. Then I heard these voices or something. And out of no where I was surrounded by a group of aliens! They just stood their staring at me. I think they were laughing at me, but it was hard to tell, since I don't speak alien. Then they put this mesh screen over me and I thought THIS WAS IT! I felt like I couldn't breathe, and then I realized that I was just holding my breath.

I have no idea why I was holding my breath, maybe just a reaction. Then an alien came towards me with long metal probe and inserted it in my keester![:0] as the end of the probe came out of my mouth, I couldn't help but think! is this just a nightmare? I think they were trying to put an alien in me.[:X] Anyways...during this whole ordeal, I kept thinking about how hungry I was. I tried to speak to them with my mind.

Oh heck someone else finish it!

You call that "broadsided?" And what exactly is it that you actually do regarding gun rights? Other than "broadside" me and disparage the NRA. What do you do?

    1) Give verbal support to organizations that take a "no compromise" stance on the 2nd (GOA/JPFO)

    2) Give monetary support to organizations that take a "no compromise" stance on the 2nd (GOA/JPFO)

    3) Do as others have done on here, and educate folks about the NRA, and how they have sold out gun owners by "giving in" and compromising on 2nd Amendment rights. A lot of folks are unaware of how much damage the NRA has done. I was, until I read some of the posts on here that stated FACTS about the NRA's support for restrictive legislation. I then researched it, and you know what. Those good people were stating the truth about the NRA. As someone who supports the Constitution of the United States as is, I believe it is my duty to be a good watchdog, and bark when the wolves draw nigh.

    4) Introduce as many people as I can to firearms. Take them to the range. Explain to them why we have the right to keep and bear; that it's not about the rights of sportsmen/hunters; it's not about the right to self-defense; it is about the citizens' right, and DUTY, to resist tyranny.

    5) Stay sharp on my own skills, because the day approaches where those skills may serve to assist in the survival of not only my rights, but those of my fellow countrymen.

That's what I do. Do you wish to hear more? You have your opinion, and I have my facts. When I see Wayne Lapierre stand side by side with the likes of Schumer, Kennedy, Feinstein, and Boxer, that tells me all I need to know, and it should be enough to give you a hint. If it walks like a rat, talks like a rat, acts like a rat, and smells like a rat, then it is most likely a friggon rat.

Broadside #2. How many more of these hits will you be able to withstand?

You can huff and puff all you want. But look around you. You are on the same side of the table as all the gun hating politicians and anti-gun groups who join you in hating the NRA. You even found a need to parade your hate here on a topic that has nothing to do with guns, gun control or gun rights.

Look left and look right. Please give the finger for me to your gun hating comrades that you have joined in hating the NRA.

And exactly what is it you do FOR gun rights (if anything)? I already see what you DON'T do for gun rights.

You instigated an arguement. I agree wholeheartedly with your posts, but your really beating a dead horse with TR.

Wanna get broadsided again?

I already see what you DON'T do for gun rights.

    tr,
This is very disturbing. I must either assume by your reply that:

    1) You cannot read, and if this is the case, I would suggest remedial courses at your local community college. I clearly outlined five steps I have taken for 2nd amendment rights. Please go back and re-read them if you are able.

    2) You, in your red-faced, frothing, temper tantrum chose to ignore what I stated. If this is the case, I would suggest you accept the truth about your beloved organization. I believe the reason your wrath is kindled is that you know I am right, and you know I have stated facts, not propaganda.

tr, I never, not once stated that I hated the NRA. I am certain the NRA has some good people in it's membership. I do however, have a high degree of contempt for the "leadership" in Fairfax. They have chosen their side, and it is not the side for the Constitution; once again, that's fact, not opinion. When the leadership of an organization supports all or part of NFA 34, GCA 68, and pushes for passage of a bill that would serve to disarm veterans suffering from PTSD, I cannot fathom how you, in good conscience, could continue support of that organization and claim they support the 2nd.

Broadside #3. You sir, are a glutton for punishment.

"Look left and look right. Please give the finger for me to your gun hating comrades"

Negative. Right now you are the only individual that i shall flash the "#1 in my book" sign to.

One should not be surprised to frequently hear criticism of the NRA. After all, there are about 84 million gunowners in America and I assume most of them value their gun rights. Yet only about 10% of them or less will turn loose of a few dollars each year to join one (not just the NRA) ANY of the few national gun rights groups. NO, it seems the great majority of gun owners would rather be free riders and let the minority of gun owners pay for and fight the gun rights battles.

And if anyone believes that we gun people don't need political gun rights groups fighting for us they are nuts. Even as strong, well connected and relative rich political person such as Hillary Clinton needs the strength of the Democratic party.

So naturally the majority of the gun owners that do little or nothing for gun right must find a way to save their self respect. In other words they cannot admit that there are a handful of national pro-gun rights organiztions out there (not just the NRA) working for gun rights but that gun owning majority will not make even a tiny sacrifice to help even one of those organizations. So, in order to try and save their self-respect, those free riders have to, they have little choice, criticize those gun rights organiztions.

Take wsfiredud for example. Instead of him spending all that posting time "broadsiding" me, he could have spent that time more productively passing out brochures outside his local grocery store advocating for stronger gun rights. Or he could have taken a non-shooter to the range and maybe converted one more person into the shooting sports. I myself have done such things, and more, and will do so in the future.

But no, for the free riders and slackers, it is so much easier to sit at their keyboard and pound away at active pro-gun people and the NRA.

    Uh, tr;

    1) Give verbal support to organizations that take a "no compromise" stance on the 2nd (GOA/JPFO)

It is quite clear that you are chosing to ignore the facts. I am chosing to disengage at this time, for it has become evident that reasoning with you is an exercise in futility. You remind me of a line in an old Grateful Dead tune; "...got two good eyes, but you still don't see." I hope that I am able to educate more gun owners and non-gun owners alike than you are with pushing the propaganda of the NRA and it's facade of being pro-2nd. Tr, you are an apothecary; providing poison to gun owners, that poison being that "the NRA is fighting for RTKBA." Let me pose a question to you. Do you, in your attempts at recruiting new members, inform them that the organization you want them to join has supported and continues to support restrictive legislation, or do you conveniently leave that part out of the conversation?

Broadside #4. Moderators, please stop this slaughter. Tr, I do admire you for taking 4 direct hits and still being able to return fire, but the fodder you have launched back at me has no substance.
