Smith & Wesson makes Kimber Frames...

Had a S&W factory rep tell me that they made the frames and slides for Kimber, and also, produced the Walther 380....

Wonder how many other companies sub out work like this ???

    A large majority of the manufactoring is done by companies for other with a name stamp. look at your hand tools, craftsman, napa.
