The $14 trillion federal debt averages out to $45,957 per American, or $183,828 for a family of four.

Since half of U.S. households paying federal income taxes, double that $183,828 for those picking up the tab and the debt equals $367,656 per taxpaying household.

Double that again for the $14 trillion in Obama's projected new federal debt over the next decade and it's $735,312 per household paying federal income taxes.

The current budget deficit is $1.7 trillion and the morons in Congress think their propsed reduction of $61 billion is a big deal. Fot those challenged by third grade math, that's 3.6%.

If you were going into debt at the rate of $2,000 a month as far as the eye can see, and you proposed to the bank from whom you expected to get a loan, that you would reduce your spending by $72 per month, what do you think the bank would say?

But, but, but, but the children, think of the children, you are trying to starve American children to death, you want mass death in our cities, you support the end of life itself in America... Your insistence the feds live within their means will cause the instantaneous death of billions of human beings,

    you must be a republican.

If you remove the 42% non productive, non tax paying teat suckers, by my rough calculations that would raise each persons share to $65,259.

This figure is open to debate, as I just added 42% to the $45K figure. [V][:(!][:(]

I'd jump right in and call myself a republican if the republicans showed any real fiscal conservatism. Every time they have any power they let it go to their head and try to outspend the democrats. [xx(]
