Ok so I have been waiting to by an ACOG for just over 2 years and I finally committed to buying one. I got a good deal on a brand new ta31f-g for $850.00. Although I did want the ta31RCO150cp but after getting outbid time and time again I grew frustrated, so when I saw a brand new model for 850 buy now price I jumped at it. I also had recently purchased a PVS 14. (I really wanted a FLIR weapon site but the 5K Price would of left me butt hurt so I decided against it.) Unfortunately I didn't do my homework,[V] come to find out you will damage your PVS if used with an ACOG. Apparently the tritium burns the tube![:(!] Damn it man! Now I'm going to purchase an aimpoint as well. That's 5K on optics.[B)] I could of just bought a FLIR after all! In hindsight I guess![:D]
