Had to be a little sneaky today.

I went to a gun show today and came home with a mini 14 and a Ruger blackhawk. I had to sneak them into the house and get em in the safe before the wife saw them. I know I'm going to have to tell her sooner or later. I've decided on later.

You wouldn't happen to be a fan of Ruger firearms would you?[8D]

Wait a week or so, pull them out and clean them so she can see them. Whenshe asks where did those come from, yucan honestly tell her that you've had them for a while. (Don't mention how long a while is) She pulled that stuff on me with some of the junk she buys so I feel I'm justified doing it to her..

This is where the "hump" factor comes into play. Once you have enough guns that she could not possibly know weather or not their are some new additions, you done made it over the "hump". Normally to get over the Hump you need at least two gun safes.Twice as big as you really need at the time. This way you can spread em out a little and slowly fill em alternating each time a new addition comes home. Soon things will all look the same to her and your home free. I made it over the hump a while ago and its been clear sailing ever since. I just aint figured how I am gonna get that third safe past her yet.[;)]

I did this for years with my fishin rods. "Gee honey I dont know how I got all them rods, I'll bet the little buggers procreate when the lights are off"[:D]

Well.........I made it over the "Hump" ,as you call it, Flathead.
Then, what did I do? I got my wife to help me inventory ALL my firearms and take pictures of ALL of 'em [for insurance purposes].

Now, I got to start all over, again!

As you know, forgiveness is easier to obtain than permission. Congratulations. [:D]
