Are a hit.

Buddy had a couple, looked at me like, "Woah, this is some good sheeit."

(I had some too.) They are pretty tasty. Has a cinnamon like smell dehydrating. House smells good.

He has had a few now. I'm hoping it is not a "this is great!" this week, only to turn his nose up at it next week.

I do not think that will be the case.

Lasts almost as long as a rawhide twist.

Good stuff.

Looks like I'll be buying a lot of sweet potatoes.

Thanks for the tip.

I know you're you trying to do right by buddy but..

If you decide to cook sweet potatoes for addition to his diet, add just a small amount (a teaspoon for a small dog or a tablespoon for a large dog) as the sudden addition of too much extra fiber could lead to gastrointestinal issues.

You can slowly add more to his diet after he get used to it. But they are very healthy for him

My dog goes crazy for those. The ones wrapped with chicken. When she knows we have them she scratches on the pantry door. I think she whines to go out just because she knows she will get one. [8D]

We buy our dogs a sweet potato and chicken dry dog food now. They both absolutely love it.

Not to change the attention away from the dogs, but I myself, have become a sweet potato junkie the past couple years. I wouldn't have been caught dead eating one in my younger years, but I just can't get enough of them now. I really like all these variations on sweet potato chips for a snack!

Hmmm - I think I'll have to try putting some through the Freeze-Dryer!

You're not eating raw, dried ones, right? Cook em first?

Everybody absolutely Raves about the Lemon-Honey dipped Banana chunks I have been Freeze-Drying.
