A guy I went to high school was in a car accident last June and he is now paralized from the neck down. He has a wife and 4 kids.

Carl played baseball for the Wichita Shockers.

The house they were living in was not wheelchair friendly so they moved into a condo for people in wheelchairs for rehab.

His classmates got together and sent request after request to extreme home makeover and on thursday afternoon they were told they were picked.

I have been helping out by getting food donated and trying to get supplies they need to build the house,,we finally got all the food for the next week set up,,that is 400 meals a day for the next week..that was alot of work.

They are still in need of some soft drinks, snack food, water, hammers, brooms, mask, extension cords and materials to build a 150x8 retaining wall using interlocking landscaping stone..
if you or you know anyone in the area that could help out please let me know.
Thank you so much

they are pretty well staffed with workers,we are just needing some supplies..Nunn told me I could go up there and help out,but with my cell phone and email and facebook i am able to do alot here..I just kansas was more friendly,,some of the people i have talked to about donations have not been pleasant,,so i am hoping by spreading the word to places in texas they can transport some materials that way.

Have you tried contacting the college.
Also, Cessna and Boeing are both located in Wichita so maybe they might pitch in something.

try any construction management classes in nearby colleges/universities, my experience shows they are usually more than helpful with volunteer building and support

and if they cant, they may have resources that can, that way you can have that many more people working on it

Neighbors won't let you use their waterhose? The stuff that comes out of that is the same stuff that's in the bottles. Just get a bag of the red cups.
