Welcome Debbie. Always great to add another female voice to the forum! Nurses are good people. In what field of medicine do you primarilly practice? My sister is a NP, worked in cardio/CICU for years, recently switched to geriatrics.
I am retired now. I was primary a Trauma/OR nurse. If you ever watched China Beach then you have an idea of what I used to do. As Hawkeye Pierce used to call it "Meatball Surgery".[:X]
