I have found a seller looking to get rid of one s. armory micro compact 45 acp and one para ordinance pxt 1911 45 acp. Which, in your opinion, is the better gun? What is a fair price for either one of them?

Only the frames are made in Brazil, and only of top quality steel, never aluminum.
Great little .45s:

Here's the one I wish I had:

That is a nice one.
Here's mine:
I've never had a problem with mine cycling. I'd go with SA.
A good 1911 that is on sale (from our wholesaler) is the Smith and Wesson Scandium....they are running about $650 new.
My husband has a hard time shooting my micro....because his hands are too big to get a good hold on the smaller grip. It jams on him after every third shot.
Springfield. Definatly. Even their "low-end" guns have the same barrel and firing mechanisms as their top-end match-grade pistols. Besides, they've been making 1911s since 1911. I think they'd have a lot of practice.
It's not the same place (Company) as the original Springfield Armory. They are just licensed to use the name....................
They have some of the best 1911's on the market. Try finding a compliant on Para Ordinance online. I ain't never seen one.
