Have been thinking about the heavy spring in my Ruger SR9 mags. Wondering if there was a magazine extension how many rounds could be added before losing too much spring tension for reliable feeding.

I have the tools to measure the magazine and the plastic end cap, put it into CAD and print a dimensioned drawing for a machinist to work from. But no machine shop to do it for me. Try that at work and there'd be big trouble.
