Anyone in Los Angeles area?

I am driving from Wyoming to LA to meet someone at the LAX airport. I have not driven on the LA freeways in about 10 years and dread having to deal with the traffic. What are the worst times to be on the freeways in the LA area and is there a back road way to get to the airport?

    6AM - 9:45AM <--- bad on the 405

    3PM - 7:30PM <--- bad on the 405

Nights and Saturdays aren't usually bad.

Late Sunday afternoon can be bad, too![8D]

the 405 is pretty bad at just about any hour. as far as a back way, where are you coming from ? you could try pch and avoid the freeway but that street is pretty slow as well

No good time to be on the L.A. Freeway. Watch out for Ponch and Jon!

The only good time to be on an LA freeway is heading AWAY from LA. [:D][:D][:D]

There is no good time to be on the road in that part of LA. As a matter of fact I would not get off the main road if I was you it gets pretty bad around LAX.

If your here next weekend why don't you head east to Norco (91 and the 71) and go to the Hands On Shooting Fair?
