Well I finally broke down and got my varminter, a stainless Ruger No. 1. I was planning on a Remington or a savage before getting to Cabelas, but I saw this little peach and couldnt take my eyes off of it. I probably shouldnt have, but after everything short of using a microscope to find any signs of wear, I figured that for 250 under book a used gun wouldnt be too bad. The single shot reliability and accuracy are both a plus, does anyone out there know of anything about this rifle or had any bad experiences with it(that is if I shoot it, Im happy now looking at it)
