I am in NC, but I believe Texas has the most members. That just means there are an awful lot of gun people that think beef is ok to BBQ and catsup is a sauce.[:D]

Get pretty good BBQ in SC too,atleast in the lowlands. In Oregon they BBQ tofu. Had BBQ venison from Michigan, good stuff.

And yes I'm writing a book on BBQ so send me all your BBQ stories and recipes. I've spent most of my adult life sampling BBQ from everywhere I have travelled, but I haven't been everywhere yet.
