One of my favorite documentaries. I've seen it several times on PBS or Netflix.

There is a part where they tracked a radio-collared wolverine and it did something like an 11,000' vertical ascent and descent over a mountain in about an hour or two, in deep snow, IIRC. Something that would take a human days.

Great video! I saw a documentary on tv, a female biologist was up there in Alaska, or Canada, she had gotten two wolverine cubs and was raising them, and she was working on returning them to the wilds. She had them up on a mountain in the snow, and the wolverines would slide down the mountain 200 feet, like kids going sledding.

These are beautiful animals. Very intelligent, and wild! Spirited.
I would love to live up north in the woods and have a pet wolverine. He would make a good guard dog.

We have these little fellows in Finland, cute [:)] They kill reindeer in Lapland [:I]

We have a local 4H club that has had wintertime wolverine live trapping project for years. They have even taught the Governent a few things about trapping them.
