I'm looking at buying one of these pistols
for $350. Does anyone have any experience
with these? Are they junk?

they are actually an excellent gun. ive owned a few 9mms and 45s. they are a browning knock-off. they take their own mag. all of mine were super reliable and well built. by the way, 350.00 is top price. here is one on GunBroker for 270.00

I had the 9HPC, which is the compact (though not all that much smaller) version of the pistol. It was a good looking pistol with surprisingly nice bluing and a decent set of hand checkered walnut stocks. Since there was no magazine safety, the single action pull was as good as most Browning HiPowers, but the DA pull was heavy and gritty. It fed everything, including hollow points without complaint. Back in the day, these retailed for around $375, so as burpfire mentioned; $350 is up there in the price range,

I prefer the PJK Browning version, the MBK appears to be the S&W 59 action, which is less desirable.
