Old Eastern Arms shotgun help

My friend inherited some old shotguns and we were looking for help with ID. One side says Eastern Arms Company. Also says proof tested 16 GA. Selected forged steel is also stamped on the gun. Any help with age and value would be great.

Probablly not worth a whole lot, but those are nice little single shots. I had one just like that in 20ga, but I lost it in the bottom of the river on canoe trip. May it rest in peace.[:(]
