Old Double barrel shotgun help

My friend inherited some old shotguns and we were looking for some ID help. This one is a double barrel 12 GA. It says Wm.Parkhurst on one side and machine made on the other side. On the top of the barrels it says Belgium Laminated Steel. And on the bottem are the #'s 7870. Any help with ID, age, and value would be great.
