I never owned a Huglu, but a couple of years ago my buddy bought a brand new 20 gauge just like the one pictured. It looked pretty and handled nicely, but it frequently doubled. Rather than wait for a repair on the warranty, he took it back to the dealer and got a different gun. It was such a pretty little thing, I think I would have waited for the repair if it had been mine.

I brought back a Huglu when I was TDY there in 2000 and haven't had any problems with it. I heard they had some quality issues, especially with the firing pins and single trigger, in the late 90's/early 2000's but have corrected all the problems they were having. I think that working with CZ helped them out. I wish I would have brought more back. I payed $250 for mine NIB but it's not nearly as nice as the one you're looking at.

I have 2. The first one I own is a CZ Huglu Durango 12 Ga coach gun. Beautiful gun & works perfectly. Use it for cowboy shooting, & pheasant hunting. Owned it 4 yrs now. The second is a CZ Huglu Ringneck 28 ga. I've owned it a month now & put 400 rounds through it at the sporting clays range. Beautiful gun & works perfectly also. The wife loves it. Wouldn't hesitate on another purchase. The 28 was used when I got it, but hardly fired.

I have a CZ ringneck SXS in 20 ga that works great. Not sure what differs with the CZ over a straight Huglu other than the branding.

I bought a Huglu shotgun in downtown Adana, Turkey back in 1985 or 86 and it has served me well. It is basically a Turkish copy of a Browning Superpose over under 12 gauge. I have fired no telling how many rounds through it and it has never failed me. I gave $275.00 for mine back in the day.
