ATF Fast & Furious

After Eric Holder's Fast & Furious, do you think the ATF is supplying Chicago gangs with guns?

If 5000 are taken off the streets in Chicago every year, who is supplying them?

If it is not the ATF, how does a black gang youth source them? They have a white guy buying them? How far do they have ro travel? Cousin in memphis?

    7 dead and 40 wounded by gunfire over the holidays. How can this happen? I thought that Chicago had one of the most strict gun control laws. It must be a misprint.

    The last rifle I bought was from a shop off I55 in Will County outside if Cook. They has me fill out a paper stating why I was purchasing the rifle.

    Sporting.

    The last time I saw a black youth looking at a handgun was 20 years ago in st.louis.

    I live 2 hours from Lake shore drive and I don't think my FFL guy even trusts me.

    I'd say gun laws around here are closer to Jim Crow laws denying ownership.

    So how are they getting on the streets of Chicago.

    well in saint Louis including east saint Louis , relatives buy them, but I think they have surpassed 500 guns this year stolen from vehicles , I tribute most of that to gun free zones where the owner is forced to leave their guns in vehicles to see a concert or game



    not including home burglaries and them stealing trucks and driving them into gun stores committing smash and grabs

    Mayor Emanuel was just on the news saying he is hurt and angry that Chicago has the laxest gun laws anywhere. That is the problem he says.

    That's a really good question. I've wondered about that for years, & have always checked the newspapers for relevant stories. No one really knows; the Treasury considers every stolen gun "hit" on their data base to be a "crime gun", but they really know or care if any given gun was stolen, or used to commit a crime.

    The fellas with the bulges in the cheap suits only occasionally supply guns to criminals, then only when they set up a phony "pawn shop" sting.

    I think most guns come from home robberies; millions of junkies are looking for either cash or guns when they break into a house. Most folks in the inner city don't have alarms, dogs, or lock boxes, so it's easy for a thief to make a quick score.

    The gangs in the NE & mid-West (especially those in NY) will send someone to a Southern state with lax laws, & pay local junkies to buy guns for them in gun shops. $100 profit for an hour's work is tempting to someone interested only in his next fix. Our state police have arrested several such suppliers on the interstate with a trunk full of guns.

    It's also common for thugs to take their girl friend/baby mama to a gun shop with instructions to buy a certain gun for them. I've seen this happen.

    I know one guy who had a revolver stolen. Really , I wouldn't know where to find one in someone else's house.

    I live about 40 miles from the City. It is criminal what the Democrats have done to Chicago and the other cities.
    He was blabbing on and on about some dead 7 year old boy. I actually felt a little sad for the little kid and certainly his parents. For a couple of seconds any way.
    The dead kid is the Son of a known and confirmed gang leader. The dead kids Dad has been arrested 45 times. YES 45 times. The bullet was meant for the Dad. The Dad won't cooperate. Gee, I wonder why?
    Nope. No Sympathy from me.
    They want Sympathy they can find it in the dictionary between SH** and SYPHILIS.
    For the record, it was reported last night 54 shootings and 10 dead over the weekend in Chicago.
    They live and act like animals.
    Damn near every Street and Park will have honorary Names of dead kids on them. And it is ALL BLACK ON BLACK CRIME.

    Chicago and Springfield vote Dem. The entire rest of the state votes Rep. Yet the 2 Counties carry the State. How F'd up is that?
    Madigan, Durbin, Emmanuel, Obama(for the couple of weeks he was a junior Senator), and the rest are all a bunch of Horses *.

    Last trip to Chicago was around 10 years ago.

    Civilization seemed to have lost its grip on all but a small portion of downtown.

    Will not go back.

    Well, about 3 years ago some of Barrys children broke into a local gun shop and took 125 handguns.,(smash and grab),The police caught two of them and the other one landed a bullet in the head and was found in Chicago,,yep,and the guns in the trunk had vanished...There is 125 right there.[|)]
    Guess another law from that total weasel *, self centered, inept, friggin total joke Rahm would have helped.
